Responsibilities

  • Develop, improve, and operate the AWS Landing Zone and CloudNative Internal Development Platform.
  • Implement standardized, reliable, performant, and operationally sound cloud and platform solutions.
  • Build and maintain metrics, logs, dashboards, telemetry, event management, and other observability capabilities.
  • Manage cloud inventory, capacity planning, billing, and tag governance.
  • Troubleshoot complex cross-platform issues and use performance metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Build automation tools, scripts, and frameworks for large-scale environment monitoring, deployment, and management.
  • Mentor less experienced engineers and coach application teams on standardized cloud operational practices.
  • Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery processes.

Requirements

  • Strong technical writing skills for documenting architectures, environments, and operational procedures.
  • Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, EKS, ArgoCD, and Grafana.
  • Experience with Terraform; Crossplane experience is a strong advantage.
  • Background in Linux/Unix system administration and networking fundamentals including DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, and routing.
  • Experience with relational databases including SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
  • Understanding of automation across the development lifecycle and experience with monitoring, telemetry, logging, reporting, dashboarding, and continuous delivery tooling.
  • Strong technical foundation in operating systems, networking, performance management, load balancing, and security systems.
  • Experience developing and maintaining business continuity and disaster recovery processes.
  • Fluent spoken and written English is required for Pan-Baltic collaboration.
