Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test cloud-native software solutions using Python, Node.js, TypeScript, and other relevant languages.
- Develop and integrate APIs, perform model checking, and create UI/UX components focused on SysML v2 data harvesting, automation, and API definition.
- Implement MBSE methodologies aligned with customer requirements and tradecraft standards.
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, including unit, component, integration, system, performance, and continuous testing.
- Integrate software with customer-supplied APIs and web services.
- Conduct code reviews and participate in customer technical interchange meetings.
- Support customer engagements, product use guidance, and internal and external design and development resources.
- Participate in Scrum workflows and use Confluence and Jira for project collaboration and management.
- Perform robust software testing and support system performance analysis.
- Work in a SCIF approximately 2–5 days per week and travel occasionally, approximately 10%–15%.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
- At least 4 years of collaborative software development or engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience with SysML v1 and MBSE design and development practices.
- Experience with cloud-native software development and Git-based workflows using GitLab or GitHub.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
- Current Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred qualifications include SysML v2, Node.js, TypeScript, Cameo Systems Modeler or similar MBSE tools, Scrum/Agile workflows, Confluence, Jira, API and web-service integration, UI/UX development, event-driven architecture, testing methodologies, EW/RF and weapons systems familiarity, API documentation, and analytical pipeline modernization experience.
- Ability to travel by air, car, or other transportation methods and perform the stated physical and workplace mobility requirements.
