Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test cloud-native software solutions using Python, Node.js, TypeScript, and other relevant languages.
  • Develop and integrate APIs, perform model checking, and create UI/UX components focused on SysML v2 data harvesting, automation, and API definition.
  • Implement MBSE methodologies aligned with customer requirements and tradecraft standards.
  • Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated testing across unit, component, integration, system, performance, and continuous testing methods.
  • Integrate software with customer-supplied APIs and web services.
  • Conduct code reviews and participate in bi-weekly technical interchange meetings with customers.
  • Provide technical support, product-use guidance, and design and development support to internal and external resources.
  • Work as a Scrum team member using collaborative workflows and project management tools.
  • Perform software testing and support system performance analysis.
  • Work in SCIF environments approximately two to five days per week and travel occasionally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
  • At least four years of software development or engineering experience working collaboratively on a high-functioning team.
  • Current Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain a U.S. Government Department of War security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Experience with SysML v1, MBSE design and development practices, cloud-native software development, Git-based workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Cameo Systems Modeler or a similar MBSE tool.
  • Preferred experience includes SysML v2, Node.js, TypeScript, Scrum or Agile methodologies, Confluence, Jira, testing methodologies, API and web-service integration, UI/UX development, event-driven architecture, EW, RF, weapons systems, API documentation, and analytical pipeline modernization.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements including prolonged computer work, occasional travel, lifting and carrying items up to 25 pounds, and mobility across office, customer, conference, manufacturing, and laboratory environments.
