Responsibilities
- Recommend product and application stability improvements in collaboration with R&D teams.
- Build software and automation supporting DevOps, ITOps, support processes, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Deploy software artifacts safely and reliably across development, staging, and production environments.
- Maintain live services by monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
- Scale systems through automation and implement changes that improve reliability and delivery velocity.
- Create and maintain disaster recovery plans for staging and production environments.
- Analyze system problems, determine root causes, and manage recovery processes to restore service quickly without data loss.
- Use RESTful services and APIs to support automation goals.
- Maintain network and system security, including security protocols and certificate management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Experience working under a Scrum methodology.
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems involving systems, networks, software, and APIs.
- Understanding of source and version control systems such as Git or Bitbucket.
- Knowledge of DevOps processes and tools such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Expertise implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment.
- Knowledge of cloud-native applications, preferably AWS.
- Experience with IT automation using tools such as Ansible and languages or scripting technologies such as Python, Groovy, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk or Dynatrace.
- Microsoft development tool knowledge, including Visual Studio, IIS, MS SQL Server, and .NET, is a plus.
