Base Salary
$78k - $168k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support the design and implementation of application software for robotic surgical systems.
- Develop software that controls, navigates, and provides the user interface for robotic-assisted surgery products.
- Execute software product development activities under supervision according to requirements, architecture, design principles, and coding standards.
- Participate in a Scrum team and collaborate with R&D, Quality, Marketing, and Project Management.
- Perform code reviews, unit and component testing, code analysis, and defect management.
- Assist with software engineering documentation and follow SDLC procedures and the Quality Management System.
- Participate in onsite R&D functional rotations and complete technical and professional training during the 20-month program.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
- At least a 3.0 cumulative GPA or equivalent.
- At least 0 years of work experience; graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
- Exposure to C++ and object-oriented programming.
- Experience or exposure to integrated development environments, Qt/QML, Linux, Docker, and version control systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of SDLC and Agile software development is preferred.
- Experience with static and dynamic software analysis, memory management, unit testing, and code coverage tools is preferred.
- Experience or coursework in linear algebra, computational geometry, computer graphics, software architecture, image processing, or robotics is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and task-management skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and must not require employment-based sponsorship now or in the future.
