Responsibilities
- Develop server-side systems for ByteDance’s global travel products.
- Design and code highly available, high-performance, and highly scalable solutions.
- Explore tools and processes that improve team efficiency and contribute to technical team construction.
- Participate throughout the product delivery cycle, including requirements review, system design, testing support, production monitoring, operations, and project management.
- Lead the development of medium and large projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above; a computer science or related major is preferred.
- Familiarity with Java or Golang technology stacks and JVM or Golang pprof performance-tuning methods.
- Knowledge of distributed system design patterns and experience using message queues, distributed storage, caches, and locks.
- Understanding of operating systems, computer networks, and information security, with the ability to apply data structures and algorithms.
- Experience using and optimizing MySQL and mainstream NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with at least one scripting language and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently on Linux.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with AI/ML and the ability to apply it to a business domain is preferred.
