Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain production-grade AI applications and services using software engineering, testing, observability, and cloud-native practices.
- Build reusable and scalable AI platforms and tools, including conversational bots, AI-powered search, unstructured-data processing, and GenBI solutions.
- Integrate AI tools, frameworks, APIs, LLMs, vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, and AI agents into robust applications.
- Automate data ingestion, preprocessing, evaluation, model integration, and deployment workflows.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable AI products and solve high-priority business problems.
- Contribute to internal knowledge bases, tooling libraries, documentation, and AI engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience and the ability to independently design and ship complex production systems.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages, with experience building microservices, APIs, and backend systems.
- Understanding of software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and modern DevOps practices across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience integrating machine learning models into production systems, including LLM APIs, fine-tuning, RAG patterns, embeddings, and agents.
- Ability to maintain code quality, test coverage, operational excellence, and delivery speed.
- Preferred familiarity with LangChain, Haystack, Hugging Face, Weaviate, or similar AI/ML ecosystems.
- Preferred experience with unstructured data, chatbots, search systems, generative AI interfaces, platform engineering, internal developer tools, or embedded teams serving business customers.
