Base Salary
$135k - $216k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead CI/CD pipeline architecture and implementation for platform services, infrastructure, and tenant applications across multiple environments.
- Establish reusable pipeline templates, GitOps practices, source control strategies, release versioning, and deployment automation.
- Automate software builds, testing, packaging, artifact management, and deployments to containerized environments.
- Integrate SAST, DAST, software composition analysis, container scanning, secrets detection, code quality validation, policy-as-code, and compliance checks into delivery workflows.
- Define secure artifact promotion, SBOM, continuous authorization, auditability, and software supply chain security processes.
- Establish infrastructure-as-code, deployment automation, pipeline health metrics, and operational standards.
- Investigate complex pipeline and deployment issues, coordinate releases across engineering and operations teams, and improve delivery performance and reliability.
- Document pipeline architecture and procedures, advise technical stakeholders, conduct technical reviews, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field plus 8 or more years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
- Extensive hands-on experience architecting, designing, and maintaining production CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with pipeline standards, reusable automation, GitOps delivery, and containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
- Experience integrating automated security controls into CI/CD pipelines, including application security testing, dependency analysis, container image scanning, or secrets detection.
- Proficiency with Git and scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, or similar infrastructure-as-code and deployment automation tools.
- DoD 8140 / 8570 IAT Level II certification, such as Security+ CE, or the ability to obtain it within the applicable timeframe.
- Preferred experience includes secure delivery across classified or disconnected environments, DoD or Intelligence Community software factories, continuous ATO, zero trust, policy-as-code, artifact management, software supply chain security, observability, Kubernetes or cloud certifications, and technical leadership.
