Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using React and Node.js.
- Build reusable frontend components, application frameworks, and Micro Frontend solutions.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
- Participate in technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and solution planning.
- Develop event-driven integrations and asynchronous communication patterns.
- Troubleshoot production incidents, application performance issues, and reliability problems.
- Lead or participate in incident calls, root-cause analysis, and problem resolution.
- Maintain code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Contribute to CI/CD automation and deployment pipelines.
- Champion accessibility, semantic HTML, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Support mission-critical applications and improve operational stability and reliability.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and provide technical leadership.
- Drive improvements in development practices, tooling, automation, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience; the stated experience range is 7–10 years.
- Strong hands-on experience developing modern web applications and scalable frontend architectures.
- Expert-level JavaScript and TypeScript skills.
- Strong experience with React, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3, RESTful APIs, and MongoDB.
- Experience with component-based application design, state management patterns, Redux or Context API, and Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks.
- Understanding of API security, authentication, authorization, Micro Frontend architectures, event-driven integrations, npm, and Node.js ecosystem practices.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and using Git-based source-control workflows.
- Strong debugging, application troubleshooting, and production-support skills.
- Experience with unit testing using Vitest, Jest, and React Testing Library, as well as frontend and API test automation.
- Experience with WCAG/A11y, semantic HTML, responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility, CSS maintainability, and performance optimization.
- Experience supporting mission-critical applications, leading production incident calls, performing root-cause analysis, and monitoring application health and performance.
- Preferred experience includes large enterprise environments, Module Federation, Azure, AWS, GCP, containerization, Kubernetes, internal platforms, shared frameworks, or reusable component libraries.
- Strong communication, ownership, stakeholder collaboration, technical leadership, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
