Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, develop, deploy, and support software solutions and infrastructure implementations or upgrades.
  • Develop full stack software using JavaScript, object-oriented programming, modern JavaScript frameworks, Node, and Express.
  • Apply test-driven development and continuous integration practices.
  • Establish monitoring and automation processes in a DevOps environment.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, analytics experts, UX researchers, and end users to define features, solve bugs, and test solutions.
  • Release software incrementally and iteratively using MVP-oriented practices.
  • Coach and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in JavaScript and/or object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with React, Angular 2, or ES6.
  • Experience with REST backends and Node with Express.
  • Experience with frontend CSS frameworks such as Foundation or Bootstrap and CSS preprocessors such as Sass or Less.
  • Experience with relational and non-structured databases.
  • Experience with cloud services, including AWS or Azure.
  • Experience with Git source control.
  • Familiarity with SOAP web services is preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor’s degree is desired.
  • The posting lists 6–8 years of desired employment experience.
