Responsibilities
- Own and deliver quarterly team goals while leading engineers through ambiguous, open-ended problems.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics throughout ideation and product development.
- Identify and lead resolution of project, process, technology, and business issues.
- Support artifact operations and availability through metrics, escalation, keep-the-lights-on work, and on-call efforts.
- Set and improve code review and design standards and advocate for engineering quality through writing and tech talks.
- Develop team talent through feedback, guidance, and leading by example.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience developing and architecting mobile applications, preferably with React Native or similar declarative UI frameworks.
- Proficiency with JavaScript or TypeScript, or demonstrated ability to work with similar languages and learn new technologies.
- Experience defining technical plans for significant features or system components with simple, elegant, and extensible designs.
- Ability to make significant changes safely in a large codebase using effective tools and engineering practices.
- Demonstrated ownership of professional growth and proactive feedback-seeking.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with a global engineering team.
