Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality software designs and production code.
- Design and implement highly available cloud-native solutions using infrastructure as code and Azure serverless computing.
- Develop APIs and protocols for integration with websites, third-party partners, mobile applications, and IoT devices.
- Create automated unit and behavioral tests across the software development lifecycle.
- Support, coach, and mentor agile engineers through technical advice and educational opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal and remote teams to fix and improve products.
- Participate independently in product support and on-call rotations.
- Translate business requirements into clear, executable technical designs.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience.
- Exposure to multiple programming languages, including Java, TypeScript, C#, HTML, XAML, PowerShell, SQL, and Swift.
- Experience developing and deploying software on cloud-native platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Proficiency with relational databases such as SQL Server and MySQL, as well as NoSQL databases.
- Track record of shipping at least one commercially used software product.
- Ability to use automation for software development, testing, and deployment.
- Understanding of agile development methodologies and ability to teach agile concepts.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical topics to business and product teams.
- Good oral and written English communication skills.
