Base Salary
$140k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop optimization, forecasting, and control algorithms for battery and renewable projects.
- Take ownership of algorithm performance across Powerline's projects.
- Maintain a results-focused mindset, prioritizing effective algorithmic approaches.
- Act as a market rules expert, staying current on developments in wholesale markets.
- Analyze market data trends to recommend new features and methods for project performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in building mixed-integer linear and/or nonlinear optimization models.
- Strong knowledge of energy markets, EV/fleet optimization, and renewable energy systems.
- Proficiency in Python with adherence to professional software engineering standards.
- High attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
