Base Salary
$123k - $308k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead prototyping efforts, validate design concepts and technologies, and support projects from discovery through production support.
- Create design documents and provide architectural and systems design leadership.
- Develop robust, high-quality software aligned with product vision and user requirements.
- Build and integrate automated testing into the product codebase.
- Mentor junior developers, collaborate across cross-functional teams, and interact regularly with customers to improve platform capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or four years of hands-on experience in a software engineering or similar full-time position.
- Current US TS/SCI security clearance.
- Experience contributing to or leading the design of new capabilities.
- Experience writing code in a general-purpose language such as Python or Go.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes deployment strategies, cluster lifecycle management, troubleshooting, scaling, and container orchestration.
- Experience implementing modern DevOps practices and tools in production deployment workflows.
- Proficiency with containerization technologies such as Docker or Podman.
- Familiarity with CNCF utilities including Crossplane and Backstage.
- Desired experience designing and implementing solutions on Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
- Desired experience building and operating Go-based microservice distributed system architectures.
