Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain application features and modules using .NET Core, .NET, and C#.
- Build and consume ASP.NET Core Web APIs and contribute to microservices-based components.
- Write and optimize SQL Server queries and stored procedures and support data modeling and indexing tasks.
- Use Azure DevOps for source control, CI/CD pipelines, work item tracking, and delivery workflow automation.
- Write automated tests, debug defects, and identify performance bottlenecks and technical debt.
- Collaborate with Product Management, senior developers, and QA to implement requirements.
- Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, task estimation, and sprint commitments.
Requirements
- Require 1–3 years of professional software development experience on the Microsoft technology stack.
- Require 1–3 years of hands-on experience with .NET Core/.NET 5+ and C#.
- Require working knowledge of ASP.NET Core Web API, MVC patterns, middleware, dependency injection, and Entity Framework Core.
- Require good SQL Server skills, including queries, joins, stored procedures, indexing, and query performance.
- Require exposure to Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL.
- Require understanding of object-oriented programming, asynchronous programming, and core .NET fundamentals.
- Require ability to write unit tests using xUnit or NUnit and familiarity with Git and Azure DevOps.
- Prefer awareness of Entra ID, Microsoft Identity Platform, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Blob Storage, Azure API Management, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
- Microsoft Azure certifications and a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field are preferred.
