Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze user and client requirements and prepare software requirements specification documents.
- Write and implement embedded-system source code and enhance existing code samples.
- Test and debug embedded software using available tools and methods to improve quality and performance.
- Collaborate with other teams to provide post-production support.
- Analyze hardware, software, application, code, and log issues and document troubleshooting activities.
Requirements
- Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.
- Working knowledge of embedded software development, technical troubleshooting, requirements analysis, and software testing.
- Ability to develop programs for a specific language and platform and participate in technical and code reviews.
- Ability to communicate effectively, work cooperatively in teams, and analyze and resolve technical problems.
