Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop and configure robotics software for autonomous construction machines.
- Build, program, test, debug, and integrate autonomous robots, machines, vehicles, and sensor-based systems.
- Apply AI, machine learning, computer vision, sensor fusion, simulation, modeling, and digital twin technologies to engineering problems.
- Design and support human-machine interface software and systems, including integration with hardware and communication protocols.
- Validate machine behavior, controls, and system performance through simulation and modeling.
- Move prototypes toward reliable, production-ready hardware/software solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Robotics Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, AI Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field, completed by the start date.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience related to robotics, autonomy, mechatronics, embedded systems, or a related field.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, without rounding.
- Experience with robotics, autonomy, mechatronics, or embedded systems through a capstone, internship, research, or work experience.
- Hands-on experience building, programming, testing, or integrating autonomous robots, machines, vehicles, or sensor-based systems.
- Experience with simulation, modeling, or digital twin tools for validating machine behavior, controls, or system performance.
- Exposure to ROS/ROS2, Python, embedded systems, firmware, real-time software, hardware interfaces, or machine communication protocols.
- Experience applying AI/ML, computer vision, data analytics, or cloud-based tools to engineering problems.
- Ability to debug complex hardware/software systems and develop reliable solutions.
- ABET accreditation is preferred.
