Base Salary
$60k - $115k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, document, develop, debug, validate, and maintain firmware across the development lifecycle.
- Develop firmware and associated unit tests in C/C++.
- Implement standards-compliant features within regulatory frameworks such as FCC and UL.
- Identify, analyze, document, and resolve firmware defects, errors, and inconsistencies.
- Perform hands-on debugging in the hardware lab.
- Support products after deployment through initial programming, routine upgrades, and low-battery end-of-life support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience with C/C++, embedded programming, RTOS, assembly, computer architecture, RF, network protocols, communications between devices or tasks, and version control.
- Preferred proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python, Ruby, PowerShell, Linux shell, or C#.
