Responsibilities
- Design, build, integrate, and release enterprise cloud services based on business requirements.
- Develop software and automate IT operations using Python, generative AI tools, cloud SDKs, configuration management, and infrastructure orchestration.
- Write code, engineer CI/CD pipelines, and promote infrastructure-as-code adoption across organizational teams and applications.
- Develop enterprise-scale cloud operations using serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda and Azure Functions.
- Use Ansible, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps to deliver operational services and satisfy operational, security, audit, and compliance requirements.
- Build and evolve IT cloud governance and standardization solutions.
- Implement automated self-certification and maintain software quality before delivery.
- Collaborate with architecture, engineering, cloud operations, security, partner, and consumer teams.
- Drive projects to completion, clarify requirements, provide technical guidance, remove roadblocks, and report progress to stakeholders and leadership.
- Document implementations, patterns, practices, and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Valid technical certificate in Azure or AWS.
- 2–5 years of application or Python code development experience using version control systems.
- At least 2 years of experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or JavaScript scripting.
- Experience using generative AI tools and solutions for code authoring.
- Experience with design patterns, SOLID principles, and cloud resiliency patterns.
- Experience working in an agile software development lifecycle such as Scrum or SaFE.
- Experience participating in software releases, code reviews, and defect triage.
- Experience with test-driven development, code refactoring, quality improvement, and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of multithreading, scalability, performance, and application security.
- Experience creating and implementing ARM, CloudFormation, or Terraform templates and managing infrastructure as code.
- Strong teamwork, organization, prioritization, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work additional hours and travel occasionally domestically and internationally.
