Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Serve as a technology subject matter expert for firm-mandated controls, compliance initiatives, projects, and technology roadmaps.
- Translate security architecture blueprints and threat models into automated preventative and detective cloud controls.
- Develop policy-as-code and detection-as-code using Python, Terraform, Open Policy Agent, SIEM query languages, and YARA rules.
- Define system enhancements, support product and process improvements, and recommend customizations for system integration.
- Identify causality, business impact, root causes, risks, and control issues while safeguarding the firm, clients, and assets.
- Ensure integrations and functions meet business goals and influence engineering decisions through advice, counsel, or facilitation.
- Advise or mentor junior team members and collaborate with security architects, cloud platform engineers, threat modelers, and virtual teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of DevSecOps engineering experience focused on cloud environments, ideally within a security program.
- Experience with cloud-native development and architecture across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Proficiency with Python and Terraform for testing, automation, and custom tool development.
- Proficiency with software testing methodologies, testing tools, and DevOps tools and practices.
- Hands-on experience with Open Policy Agent for policy enforcement.
- Experience with detection engineering, detection-as-code practices, and developing and maintaining detection rules.
- Experience with SIEM query languages such as Splunk SPL and YARA rules.
- Relevant cloud security certifications are preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience in financial services or a large, complex, and/or global environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated analytical, diagnostic, communication, prioritization, ownership, and operational process improvement skills.

- Salary range is $113,840.00–$170,760.00, excluding incentive and retention awards.
