Base Salary
$120k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Determine user requirements and collaborate with stakeholders on technical scenarios.
- Design, implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code for maintainable and performant services.
- Identify dependencies and create design documents for products, applications, services, or platforms.
- Drive project plans, release plans, and work items with stakeholders including project managers.
- Act as a Designated Responsible Individual, guide other engineers, participate in on-call operations, monitor services, and restore service during incidents.
- Improve availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, performance, monitoring, and operations at scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least four years of technical engineering experience coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud background check.
- Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in computer science with eight or more years of experience, or a related master’s degree with six or more years of experience, or equivalent experience.
