Base Salary
$126k - $201k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop driver, diagnostic, and embedded software for intravascular ultrasound systems.
- Architect, design, develop, and debug C++ software that enables communication between hardware and application software.
- Create software requirements specifications, software architecture documents, and detailed software design documents.
- Collaborate with electrical, transducer, software, system, ultrasound, marketing, hardware, catheter design, and manufacturing teams.
- Develop detailed design documentation, verification plans, and testing plans for medical capital equipment.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of software or embedded software development experience, preferably in medical electronics.
- Strong C++ skills and experience working in a Windows environment.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with object-oriented programming language design and coding.
- Industry experience creating detailed design documentation, specifications, design descriptions, verification plans, and testing plans.
- Knowledge of digital signal processing and image processing is preferred, and CUDA knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to meet the position’s physical, cognitive, and environmental requirements with or without accommodation.
