Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable data quality automation.
- Implement test reporting, analytics solutions, and custom dashboards to surface quality insights.
- Use AWS services including CodePipeline, CodeBuild, ECS, Lambda, S3, and CloudWatch Synthetics for quality engineering.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Define and govern quality strategy, test standards, tooling selection, and metrics frameworks across multiple product teams.
- Lead and mentor QA engineers and SDETs across automated, manual, and exploratory testing.
- Track and present quality KPIs including defect escape rate, test coverage, MTTR, and automation ROI to senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and work experience.
- 7+ years of experience in software and quality engineering, including at least 3 years leading data quality engineering.
- Proven experience automating and measuring data quality assurance in production environments.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python or R, and Git.
- Experience developing QA automation on AWS or equivalent cloud platforms.
- Preferred experience using AI development tools.
- Preferred proficiency in Apache Spark and PySpark.
- Preferred experience with Great Expectations or Deequ and familiarity with Jenkins.
