Responsibilities
- Translate customer requirements into feature-level test plans and define testing KPIs.
- Design, review, and execute automation scripts using Robot Framework.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, acceptance criteria, regression suites, and requirements traceability.
- Perform integration, system, Android platform, and automotive infotainment testing.
- Manage test documentation, test execution feedback, defect tracking, communication, and resolution.
- Support developers with application testing packages and provide consulting on test methodology and tools.
- Collaborate with development teams on design reviews, release planning, estimation, and delivery processes.
- Build and maintain Python-based test frameworks and execute tests using automotive and Android diagnostic logs.
- Ensure integration testing, source components, and technical documentation are maintained for platform checkout, testing, and validation.
Requirements
- 7 to 9 years of automotive software testing experience and more than 7 years of automation scripting experience.
- Experience testing Android infotainment systems and Android platform-level applications.
- Hands-on experience creating test plans from scratch, defining KPIs, and working with Robot Framework in the automotive domain.
- Experience with integration testing, Appium, and UI Automator or Selenium with Robot Framework.
- Working knowledge of Git, RTC, JIRA, Xray, ClearCase, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, and build systems.
- Programming and scripting experience with Python, Bash, Perl, and CAPL.
- Working knowledge of Linux, QNX, Android, and Android Automotive.
- Experience testing CAN and awareness of diagnostics and LIN protocols.
- Experience with Serial and ADB logs, Jenkins commands, and building automation frameworks with Python.
- Experience with CANalyzer and CANoe.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum terminology and the software development life cycle.
- Strong communication, analytical, judgment, initiative, execution, collaboration, adaptability, and project management skills.
