Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for software functionality and quality standards.
- Create and execute automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools.
- Analyze requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to acceptance criteria.
- Perform root-cause analysis and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.
- Participate in code reviews and promote code quality, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
- Support delivery in line with governance, risk, control, policy, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders and contribute to technology communities.
- Develop and maintain IBM Sterling file-transfer solutions and related business processes and maps.
Requirements
- Experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway, including Sterling Integrator, Sterling File Gateway, Sterling Secure Proxy, Perimeter Servers, and Sterling Control Centre.
- Oracle and SQL database experience.
- Experience with business process development and map development.
- Knowledge of FTP, SFTP, and Connect:Direct file-transfer protocols.
- Basic certificate-management knowledge, including TLS, SSL, and OCSP.
- Experience with Unix operating systems, preferably Linux, is valued.
- Experience implementing DevOps and identifying automation and integration opportunities is valued.
- Hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins, TeamCity, JIRA, and Confluence is an advantage.
- Strong technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, stakeholder communication, and risk-and-controls awareness are expected.
