Base Salary
$105k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve infrastructure, deployment processes, and tooling for development teams.
- Manage Kubernetes cluster lifecycles and develop Helm charts for application deployment and configuration.
- Integrate GitOps tools with CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure using Ansible.
- Support scalable, highly available deployments across multiple service centers and availability zones.
- Manage Elasticsearch clusters, Logstash pipelines, and Kibana dashboards, including performance and data ingestion.
- Support systems using MongoDB, PKI, certificate-based authentication, REST APIs, and service-based architectures.
- Collaborate with software developers, test engineers, system administrators, and security teams.
- Lead technical discussions, brief technical and non-technical stakeholders, and develop program review materials.
- Use JIRA and Confluence while supporting systems from implementation through production.
Requirements
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
- Ten years of experience as a systems engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Experience with Kubernetes cluster lifecycle management and Helm chart development is desired.
- Experience with GitOps tools, CI/CD pipeline integration, infrastructure as code, and Ansible automation is desired.
- Understanding of scalability and high-availability strategies across multiple service centers or availability zones is desired.
- Experience with PKI, certificate-based authentication, REST APIs, service-based architectures, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and MongoDB is desired.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and experience collaborating across engineering and administration teams are desired.
- Experience leading technical discussions, briefing stakeholders, developing program review materials, and using JIRA and Confluence is desired.
