Base Salary
$140k - $229k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain embedded software for microcontrollers and embedded Linux systems.
- Write hardware drivers for spacecraft sensors and actuators, including IMUs, reaction wheels, and star trackers.
- Collaborate with the avionics team to integrate software with embedded systems and peripherals.
- Participate in software design, implementation, testing, documentation, and the full software development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues independently and collaboratively.
- Follow industry standards and best practices for embedded software development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in embedded software development, preferably in aerospace or a related field.
- Proficiency in Rust, C, or C++.
- Familiarity with ARM processors and embedded Linux.
- Knowledge of UART, I2C, and RS422 communication protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, protected individuals under ITAR, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorizations.
