Responsibilities
- Build highly scalable, cloud-native web services using Go.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team on software design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Work with engineering leaders to implement software engineering best practices.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug product defects and provide timely solutions to customer needs.
- Develop a deep understanding of PKI products, architecture, and systems.
- Attend meetings outside standard working hours when required to collaborate across time zones and global teams.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of professional experience as a backend developer.
- Minimum five years of hands-on experience developing applications in Go.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience designing and developing web service APIs.
- Knowledge of service-based architectures, distributed systems, relational databases, indexes, SQL best practices, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices in design, testing, architecture, and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/DevOps.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience with MySQL, React, Redux, C++, Git, or GitHub is a bonus.
