Base Salary
$320k - $405k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and own an enterprise-ready education platform covering authentication/SSO, learner data models, content delivery, credentialing, and progress tracking
- Define the technical vision for AI-driven educational experiences and make product-level decisions about the learning platform
- Build AI-augmented pipelines for content generation, real-time adaptation, assessment delivery, and quality assurance
- Design adaptive learning paths, competency-based progression, and AI-evaluated demonstrations of skill
- Integrate with Anthropic’s security, infrastructure, and data architecture while maintaining reliability and development velocity
- Build platform abstractions that let non-engineers configure, extend, and experiment with educational experiences
- Own technical execution with educational collaborators, trainers, educators, and go-to-market and developer-relations stakeholders
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience and demonstrated ability to take a platform from zero to production at scale
- Full-stack engineering skills with particular strength in backend systems, databases, APIs, authentication, reliability, and infrastructure
- Experience building and operating platforms that reliably serve many concurrent users
- Experience collaborating with security and infrastructure teams to meet organizational requirements
- Ability to translate pedagogical intent into technical architecture amid ambiguity and broad ownership
- Genuine passion for education and strong judgment about educational technology and content quality
- Working practice of using AI tools in engineering workflows and curiosity about AI-native educational platforms
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a relevant field
- Preferred experience with learning platforms, credentialing systems, educational technology, learning science, instructional design, or educational research
- Preferred experience with SSO/identity standards including SAML and OAuth, Open Badges, LTI integrations, LLM capabilities, high-growth platform infrastructure, or systems configured by non-technical users
Benefits
- Annual compensation range of $320,000-$405,000 USD
