Responsibilities
- Guide customers through device and non-device Verifone payment implementations and integrations.
- Support customer validation, troubleshoot technical issues, escalate internally, and raise tickets as needed.
- Travel to customer sites approximately 10–15% of the time to support integrations and provide hands-on training.
- Write and review Java and/or Kotlin code and use REST APIs to build and validate integrations.
- Test and evaluate sample code and solutions and provide feedback to internal teams.
- Use Claude and other AI tools for programming, documentation, and workflow improvements.
- Manage smaller integration projects, including timelines, stakeholders, deliverables, and weekly status updates.
- Document issues, resolutions, and integration guidance in Jira, Confluence, and other tools.
Requirements
- Hands-on Java and/or Kotlin programming experience is required.
- Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as integration engineering, technical support, or solutions engineering.
- Ability to work independently, learn continuously, own problems, and drive them to resolution.
- Hands-on REST API programming experience is a strong plus.
- Android device and Android Studio experience is a strong plus.
- Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Git, and Postman is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of Swift, .NET, or Python is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI models in technical contexts, with Claude experience highly valued.
- Strong written communication skills for documenting issues, resolutions, and project status.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites approximately 10–15% of the time.
