Responsibilities
- Contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code for provisioning and managing cloud resources across multiple environments.
- Write automation scripts and tooling for access provisioning, cost optimization, and resource lifecycle management.
- Maintain configuration-management tooling and containerized or orchestrated workloads.
- Support cloud operations including access requests, monitoring and alerting hygiene, and routine maintenance across cloud accounts.
- Improve observability through structured logging, metrics, and alerting, and participate in security, compliance, and cost-optimization initiatives.
- Ship infrastructure changes through CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with engineering teams through code reviews and technical discussions.
Requirements
- Have a solid foundation in at least one general-purpose programming language such as Python or Go and in basic scripting.
- Understand fundamental data structures, algorithms, and networking concepts.
- Have familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Be eager to learn cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a feedback-driven environment.
- Be comfortable using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude.
- Preferred qualifications include exposure to Terraform or CloudFormation, familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure, exposure to Docker or Kubernetes, familiarity with Ansible, Chef, or Puppet, and interest in observability and monitoring tools.
