Responsibilities
- Provide solution architecture support for daily tasks, business needs, platform strategy, development teams, and application teams in CBP’s Salesforce environment.
- Guide Salesforce platform maturation and advise application teams on development and configuration best practices.
- Review Technical Design Documents and provide technical direction before deployment.
- Support release management, source control, packaging, and deployment across multiple Salesforce environments.
- Design and maintain efficient, scalable Salesforce data models.
- Apply and govern Salesforce security controls, including data access and permissions.
- Design and support integrations and middleware connecting Salesforce with other CBP systems.
- Provide technical guidance during design, release, and deployment activities.
- Troubleshoot enterprise-level Salesforce issues and bugs.
- Train and support newly assigned Salesforce development team members.
Requirements
- At least six years of experience, including at least four years supporting complex Salesforce projects and programs.
- Active CBP BI clearance is required, along with willingness to undergo a government-issued background investigation.
- Deep understanding of the Salesforce security model, data access controls, and permissions.
- Experience with Salesforce program delivery, full-lifecycle Agile program management, production solutions, and legacy application migrations.
- Experience designing scalable Salesforce data models and integration patterns using middleware.
- Experience with release management, source control, and deployment technologies.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior customer stakeholders and support cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect certification is preferred.
