Responsibilities
- Develop, operate, and continuously improve infrastructure and tools supporting software development.
- Maintain and enhance source code management, artifact management, and CI/CD platforms.
- Administer, monitor, and maintain Linux- and Windows-based development infrastructure.
- Collaborate with software developers to improve developer experience, automation, and engineering workflows.
- Contribute to infrastructure planning, backup strategies, security practices, and operational resilience.
- Participate in software development activities and engineering projects, including C++ application workflows.
Requirements
- Experience with Linux-based systems and modern software development infrastructure.
- Experience with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and software delivery workflows.
- Experience with automation, scripting, and troubleshooting technical systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with software developers and other technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
- Professional working proficiency in English; German language skills are advantageous.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with GitLab, Artifactory, or similar development platforms is desirable.
- Experience with virtualized environments, infrastructure administration, backup, monitoring, and operational support is desirable.
- Experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages is desirable.
- Familiarity with build systems and software development workflows for C++ applications is desirable.
- Experience with infrastructure automation, configuration management, or infrastructure-as-code approaches is desirable.
- Familiarity with machine learning or data processing environments is desirable.
