Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate full-stack web applications and APIs using React and TypeScript/Node.js or Python.
- Own secure, scalable AWS infrastructure definitions and multi-account, multi-region cloud environments using AWS CDK.
- Build GitHub Actions workflows with reusable actions, environment promotions, approvals, canary strategies, and automated rollback.
- Implement Cucumber/Gherkin BDD, Playwright end-to-end and UI testing, and contract testing.
- Embed GxP traceability, validation, documented changes, and audit-ready evidence into delivery pipelines.
- Design and integrate Model Context Protocol systems for safe and transparent tool orchestration and automation.
- Instrument services, define SLOs, and create Grafana dashboards and alerts to reduce incidents and mean time to recovery.
- Apply secrets management, SAST/DAST/SCA, SBOM generation, and policy-as-code guardrails.
- Maintain Jira backlogs, sprint planning, acceptance criteria, reporting, and stakeholder alignment.
- Develop templates, golden paths, internal portals, SOPs, standards, feedback forums, and office hours.
Requirements
- Proficiency with a modern frontend framework such as React and a backend language such as TypeScript/Node.js or Python.
- Hands-on experience with AWS CDK and core AWS services including IAM, Lambda, ECS/Fargate or EKS, S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, and RDS/DynamoDB.
- Strong experience building GitHub Actions workflows with reusable actions, multi-environment promotion, approvals, and rollback.
- Practical experience with Cucumber/Gherkin, Playwright, and contract testing.
- Working knowledge of GxP expectations, including traceability, validation, documented changes, and audit-ready evidence.
- Experience designing and integrating Model Context Protocol patterns for tool orchestration and automation.
- Demonstrated Jira use for backlog hygiene, sprint planning, reporting, and clear acceptance criteria.
- Clear written and spoken English communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics and drive consensus.
- Desirable experience with k6, Gatling, or JMeter, profiling, instrumentation, Grafana dashboards and alerts, security controls, developer experience platforms, templates, golden paths, internal portals, standards, feedback forums, and office hours.
