Responsibilities
- Develop test automation scripts using C#, Selenium, and Protractor.
- Perform performance and load testing using Apache JMeter and related tools.
- Enhance the automation framework and support continuous integration with automated smoke and regression suites.
- Provide testing input during refinement of new and existing product requirements.
- Create and review end-to-end, sanity, regression, and other test cases and scripts.
- Clarify requirements with product owners and functional analysts and identify gaps in test coverage.
- Perform root-cause analysis of escaped defects and create test scenarios to address coverage gaps.
- Conduct Web API and web services testing using tools such as Postman.
- Use SQL joins and subqueries to validate test results against the underlying database.
- Execute, monitor, and analyze test results against organizational coverage metrics.
- Track, manage, and resolve defects using TFS.
- Coordinate issue resolution with QA, development, product management, and other teams.
- Perform functional testing where automation is not feasible.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in automation testing using C#, Java, or Python.
- Experience with automation testing, API testing, BDD Cucumber, Selenium, Postman, REST Assured, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Apache JMeter for performance and load testing.
- Experience testing APIs and web services with API tools such as Postman.
- Experience designing test cases using varied testing techniques.
- Good SQL skills, including joins and subqueries.
- Exposure to performance-testing tools and processes such as LoadRunner, JMeter, and Visual Studio Load Test is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
- BE, MCA, or equivalent degree/experience.
