Base Salary
$120k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop large-scale distributed networking security software services and solutions.
- Use AI to build advanced security capabilities and improve engineering productivity.
- Perform system design, interface definition, code reviews, and data- and telemetry-driven decision-making.
- Build services that are modularized, secure, reliable, diagnosable, actively monitored, and reusable.
- Improve test coverage, implement integration tests, and resolve service problem areas.
- Troubleshoot and optimize Live Site automation, reliability, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with product teams, mentors, leaders, customers, and partners to deliver cohesive end-to-end experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of technical engineering experience coding in languages including C, C++, Golang, or Rust.
- At least 3 years of familiarity with core networking protocols and technologies including HTTP, TLS, TCP/IP, and DNS.
- At least 6 years of experience with Windows-based operating system internals and open-source contributions.
- Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check and other applicable customer or government security screenings.

- The typical U.S. base pay range is USD $119,800-$234,700 per year, with different ranges for specified locations.
- The position may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
