Base Salary

$87k - $130k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build responsive, accessible, high-performance frontend interfaces with strong attention to detail.
  • Develop intuitive user experiences for advanced visualization products supporting data analysis and decision-making.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, rapid prototyping, and accessibility-focused design work.
  • Collaborate with product experience designers, developers, engineers, scientists, and stakeholders to deliver cohesive solutions.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related STEM discipline.
  • At least 2 years of post-bachelor experience in frontend design and/or development.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and modern web frontend frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.
  • Demonstrated ability in user research, usability testing, rapid prototyping, and accessibility.
  • Ability to present complex concepts to audiences ranging from engineers to executives.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
  • Preferred qualifications include a master’s or Ph.D. in HCI, Computer Science, Design, or Human Factors; experience with Blender, Maya, 3DS Max, or equivalent modeling tools; large-scale design systems experience; and aerospace or defense industry experience.
