Base Salary
$87k - $130k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build responsive, accessible, high-performance frontend interfaces with strong attention to detail.
- Develop intuitive user experiences for advanced visualization products supporting data analysis and decision-making.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, rapid prototyping, and accessibility-focused design work.
- Collaborate with product experience designers, developers, engineers, scientists, and stakeholders to deliver cohesive solutions.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related STEM discipline.
- At least 2 years of post-bachelor experience in frontend design and/or development.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and modern web frontend frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Demonstrated ability in user research, usability testing, rapid prototyping, and accessibility.
- Ability to present complex concepts to audiences ranging from engineers to executives.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s or Ph.D. in HCI, Computer Science, Design, or Human Factors; experience with Blender, Maya, 3DS Max, or equivalent modeling tools; large-scale design systems experience; and aerospace or defense industry experience.
