Base Salary
$113k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze and scope business, stakeholder, and technical requirements and create requirement traceability matrices and user stories.
- Develop and maintain scalable application components using JavaScript, Python, C#, and Java.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and responsive front-end interfaces using Flask, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
- Develop and optimize backend services, SQL and NoSQL databases, routing, indexing, and data synchronization for high-performance applications.
- Implement role-based access control and authentication in web applications.
- Prepare, execute, and automate test cases; perform regression testing, defect tracking, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Build scripts to automate repetitive tasks and support CI/CD, testing, and other processes.
- Monitor application performance, availability, logs, metrics, and maintenance data, and perform corrective, adaptive, and perfective maintenance.
- Review program metrics and reporting to ensure project adherence to approved milestones and timelines.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field plus two years of software engineering or related experience.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs for web applications using Flask and Java.
- Experience implementing responsive UI/UX with HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
- Experience developing and optimizing backend services and SQL/NoSQL databases for performance, scalability, and high traffic.
- Experience with role-based access control, authentication, front-end/back-end data synchronization, and unit testing.
- Experience with debugging, performance optimization, cross-platform compatibility, routing, and database indexing.
