Base Salary

$128k - $209k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Define and govern software architecture for Remote Control and autonomy systems on embedded platforms.
  • Design, develop, review, integrate, and test real-time embedded control software using Embedded C/C++.
  • Lead AUTOSAR-based software architecture and development, including BSW and RTE considerations.
  • Define software requirements and maintain traceability to system and customer needs.
  • Architect integration across system, hardware, and platform layers and standardize machine interfaces.
  • Support cybersecurity and functional safety in software design and validation.
  • Drive software verification, validation, quality practices, troubleshooting, and root cause resolution.
  • Support sprint planning, production readiness, global platform initiatives, and delivery alignment.
  • Mentor software developers and provide technical leadership across distributed teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science.
  • Strong expertise in embedded C/C++ development in RTOS environments.
  • Proven experience in software architecture and embedded or autonomy systems.
  • Deep knowledge of AUTOSAR, preferably AUTOSAR Classic, including BSW and RTE.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and structured development methodologies.
  • Experience with MATLAB and Simulink in embedded environments.
  • Experience with vehicle or machine networks such as CAN and Ethernet.
  • Proficiency with Git, debuggers, and cross-compilers.
  • Strong problem-solving, technical troubleshooting, collaboration, and distributed-team leadership skills.
  • Advanced degree is preferred.
