Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Support RadCAM software systems in space operations and production environments.
- Design and architect services, monitor service reliability, and provide technical support to the RadCAM team.
- Develop and test software integrating with existing ground systems through the continuous integration/continuous deployment pipeline.
- Create automated unit, integration, and functional tests.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts to commission satellite imaging sensors and expand radiometric calibration operations.
- Interface with broader software development teams and guide adherence to software engineering best practices.
- Provide architectural and design guidance for a cloud-based, distributed technology stack.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and data anomalies on the ground and in space.
- Communicate issues and results while supporting operational deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, aerospace engineering, or a related field; two additional years of experience may substitute for the degree.
- At least five years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, three years with a master’s degree, a PhD, or equivalent experience.
- U.S. citizenship and U.S. person status are required.
- Strong software engineering, verbal and written communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline deployment workflows and applications running on Linux.
- Python fluency is preferred.
- Experience with aerospace or satellite ground systems, image processing, geospatial analysis, and remote sensing data is preferred.
- Experience supporting production and test environments and working in an Agile process is preferred.
- Experience with SOA, REST, JSON, Kubernetes, AWS, PostgreSQL, AWS cloud infrastructure, microservice-based architecture, Docker, and virtual environments is preferred.
- Willingness and ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance is preferred.
