Base Salary
$79k - $133k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build server-side web services that support developer and geospatial application access to the platform.
- Design, implement, and maintain ArcGIS Online feature service components across Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve software bugs and performance problems.
- Build scalable, reusable, and maintainable components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and incorporate them into feature service design.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of industry experience coding in C#, C++, and the .NET platform.
- Experience with Azure cloud computing platforms and services.
- Understanding of API design, object-oriented design patterns, web services, spatial databases, computational geometry, data structures, and algorithms.
- Knowledge of Git and experience working in a distributed team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, physics, engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred qualifications include problem-solving skills in C# and .NET, familiarity with JSON and HTTP, GIS and geospatial knowledge, and a master’s degree or Ph.D. in a related field.
