Responsibilities
- Initiate, design, and develop software for next-generation defect-detection products.
- Make technical decisions and ensure application scalability and performance.
- Design and implement complex software architectures for high-performance, large-scale distributed systems.
- Develop and debug software solutions for semiconductor equipment components and devices.
- Create software documentation and test procedures and troubleshoot software problems.
- Communicate with internal customers to understand project requirements.
- Contribute to launching innovative products and lead small projects as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering.
- At least 5 years of related experience.
- Proficiency and experience in Java, networking principles, and multithreading.
- Experience developing on Linux with Docker containers and Kubernetes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex software architectures, not just write code.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively with a team.
- Python proficiency is preferred.
- Experience working with high-volume data and inter-process communication is preferred.
- A master’s degree in a related field and leadership skills are preferred.
