Base Salary
$125k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SpaceX’s core test infrastructure framework and supporting applications.
- Support production testing, integration testing, software and hardware validation, and high-fidelity simulations across flight systems.
- Improve the reliability, performance, and safety of test software and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with flight software engineers and users across the company to develop features and improve user experience.
- Own software engineering and product development for test infrastructure and identify efficient solutions to user problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or a scientific discipline, or 2+ years of professional software-building experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least 1 year of experience with C/C++.
- At least 1 year of experience with Python.
- Preferred experience includes telemetry-based software, software system design, front-end development, testing and monitoring, AI-enabled developer workflows, performance profiling, build systems, UNIX-like systems, container technologies, and databases.
- Applicants must meet applicable ITAR authorization requirements, such as being a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, or being eligible to obtain required authorizations.
