Base Salary

$96k - $182k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and support automation solutions for consistent software builds and deployments.
  • Own, optimize, and troubleshoot the program’s CI/CD pipeline and associated build-chain tools.
  • Identify manual processes for automation and recommend strategy and infrastructure improvements.
  • Support automated testing, continuous integration, and real-time testing and diagnostics in virtualized environments.
  • Configure and support software, virtual environments, network devices, and virtual networks as needed.
  • Work onsite in a lab environment to support simulation and training solutions.

Requirements

  • A STEM degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced related degree and at least 3 years of experience.
  • An active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance before starting; U.S. citizenship is required for clearance eligibility.
  • Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Coverity, Nexus, Artifactory, and Splunk.
  • Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or similar automation frameworks.
  • Experience with Python, Bash, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience with VMware, Proxmox, or similar virtual environments.
  • Experience with continuous integration for real-time testing and diagnostics in a virtualized environment.
  • Basic TCP/IP and VLAN networking knowledge and experience configuring network devices or virtual networks.
  • Preferred experience includes Red Hat OpenShift, VMware, OpenStack, cloud networking, Docker or Podman, Kubernetes, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MonetDB, JSON, XML, YAML, XSD, Linux, Windows, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, cloud platforms, and legacy-system refactoring.
  • Preferred certifications include Security+, CISSP, or equivalent security credentials and CCNA or equivalent networking credentials.
