Base Salary
$169k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering architecture design reviews.
- Set a high technical bar through code and architecture design reviews.
- Mentor engineers.
- Collaborate across Product, Design, and Engineering to solve technical challenges.
- Improve engineering processes, including long-term planning, sprint planning, and stand-ups.
- Build services with high availability and low latency for a mission-critical system.
- Help shape the technical and organizational direction of a growing global engineering team.
Requirements
- 8+ years of full stack software engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience building complex, impactful software in a team environment.
- Experience designing and delivering highly available, scalable cloud-based systems.
- Ability to write simple, maintainable backend microservices code.
- Deep skill in driving technical solutions across multiple teams.
- Backend service experience with managed languages such as Go, Java, or Scala.
- Frontend experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
- Strong database experience, especially SQL.
- Interest in setting technical and organizational direction for a growing engineering team across multiple global locations.
