Responsibilities
- Improve the reliability, availability, performance, and scalability of cloud services.
- Partner with Cloud Development teams to design for operability, reliability, and resilience.
- Manage infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.
- Run and improve Harness CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Design and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability with CloudWatch and related tools.
- Automate deployments, upgrades, onboarding, and incident response to reduce operational toil.
- Participate in incident handling and post-incident reviews.
- Create standards, runbooks, and reusable patterns for the global SRE team.
Requirements
- Hands-on production experience with AWS.
- Practical experience with Kubernetes, including EKS, and Docker.
- Experience with Terraform, Harness, and Ansible or similar tooling.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, metrics, and alerts.
- Understanding of distributed systems and database technology, ideally Microsoft SQL Server, from an operational perspective.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, platform, and application layers.
- Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Previous SRE, DevOps, or production engineering experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of IAM, networking, certificates, and SSO is preferred.
- Exposure to financial systems or other high-reliability environments is preferred.
