Responsibilities
- Provision, monitor, and operate cloud services in a globally distributed team.
- Analyze and resolve operational issues, respond to incidents, and conduct root cause analysis.
- Implement continuous improvements to cloud services and their operations.
- Partner with local product development teams to design and enhance services.
- Create and improve automation for testing, deployment, scalability, management, and service visibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated within six months from, a qualifying coding academy, bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor's, master's, JD, or PhD program.
- Applied programming experience with JavaScript, C++, Java, C, and SQL and/or in-memory databases.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and programming on them.
- Knowledge of source control systems such as Git, Subversion, or Perforce.
- Preferred experience with web services, networking, DNS, TCP/IP, Apache, firewalling, load balancing, RESTful/OData services, and SAML SSO.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, multitasking, and learning skills.
- Ability to commit to an eight-month internship beginning September 2026 in SAP's Vancouver office.
