Responsibilities
- Mentor Software Engineers and other technical personnel.
- Design, implement, and support integrations across manufacturing and enterprise systems.
- Develop and maintain APIs connecting CAD/CAM software, MES platforms, and other business applications.
- Use AI-assisted tools to improve code generation, debugging, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.
- Advise product teams on solution and data architecture while balancing business objectives and non-functional requirements.
- Identify technical and security risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Communicate architecture direction through documentation, training, and stakeholder awareness.
- Deliver technical solutions using agile project management practices.
- Advocate for application security and data privacy.
- Analyze existing business processes and software to identify design improvements.
- Collaborate with IT, business functions, external vendors, contract resources, and global teams to deliver projects.
- Travel up to 25% of the time.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and integrating enterprise applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an information-technology-related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Current experience with C#, .NET Core, and Azure services.
- Demonstrated knowledge of software and solution architecture.
- Experience integrating digital manufacturing solutions such as MES with ERP, SCADA, and PLM platforms.
- Ability to understand business domains, develop scalable proof-of-concept solutions, identify issues, and select appropriate alternatives.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to mentor, collaborate with global teams, and coordinate work across groups.
- Willingness to explore and adopt technologies for practical business purposes.
- Ability to work with agile teams to develop secure technical solutions.
