Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly scalable components of the enterprise Agentic AI Platform.
- Build distributed services and APIs for agent execution, orchestration, registration, configuration, deployment, versioning, lifecycle management, and runtime operations.
- Develop integrations and common abstractions across AI models, agents, tools, runtimes, providers, and managed agent platforms.
- Design platform-level identity, authentication, authorization, permissions, policy enforcement, governance, auditability, and data-boundary controls.
- Build agent registries, catalogs, metadata, discovery, dependency, certification, observability, evaluation, experimentation, and continuous-learning capabilities.
- Develop SDKs, CLIs, templates, local development environments, and self-service workflows that improve developer productivity.
- Design AI-specific CI/CD, deployment, promotion, rollback, release, evaluation, policy-validation, and security-check capabilities.
- Establish patterns for resilience, scalability, performance, security, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Evaluate emerging agent frameworks, protocols, models, and infrastructure technologies for enterprise use.
- Partner with product, architecture, security, risk, infrastructure, governance, and application engineering teams, while mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction.
Requirements
- Strong production software engineering experience using Python, Java, Go, or TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of generative AI, LLMs, agent architectures, tool or function calling, retrieval, context management, and agent orchestration.
- Experience building production applications or platforms with major model providers or AI platforms.
- Experience with Kubernetes, containers, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native architecture.
- Experience designing production APIs and event-driven or asynchronous systems.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and software delivery practices.
- Strong understanding of identity, authentication, authorization, secrets management, and least-privilege security.
- Ability to turn ambiguous and emerging technical problems into reliable production systems and collaborate across engineering, architecture, product, security, and governance organizations.
- Preferred experience includes LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, Google ADK, OpenAI Agents SDK, MCP, A2A, Kubernetes operators or controllers, service meshes, model gateways, vector databases, retrieval systems, embeddings, evaluation frameworks, human feedback, experimentation, OpenTelemetry, Langfuse, policy engines, policy-as-code, AI security, prompt-injection defenses, tool security, data-loss prevention, threat modeling, internal developer platforms, developer portals, and regulated distributed systems.
