Base Salary
$168k - $245k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop autonomous agents and AI-driven workflows integrated with the Webex Control Hub ecosystem.
- Implement scalable AI solutions using LLMs, vector databases, and agentic frameworks.
- Deploy production-ready AI features with attention to latency, cost efficiency, security, and ethical AI practices.
- Establish standards for model evaluation, prompt engineering, and agentic reliability.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Partner with product management and data science teams to translate business needs into AI solutions.
- Lead or contribute to the lifecycle management of high-availability AI platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus 7 years of experience, master’s degree plus 4 years of experience, or PhD plus 1 year of related experience in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
- Professional software engineering experience focused on AI/ML and agentic systems.
- Experience deploying AI-powered applications into production environments at scale.
- Coding experience in Python or Java and experience with AI frameworks and LLM orchestration.
- Understanding of distributed systems, API design, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineering teams.
- Preferred: experience with LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, multi-agent orchestration, Spark, Flink, Pinecone, Milvus, fine-tuning, RAG, LLM observability and evaluation tools, AWS, GCP, Azure, and mission-critical high-availability AI platforms.

- Base salary range of $167,700.00 to $245,200.00, with higher listed ranges for certain locations.
