Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define functional and non-functional requirements.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and improve software applications and reusable software components.
- Plan work estimates and forecasts, investigate technical problems, and design integrations.
- Write technical documentation, participate in code reviews, and implement unit, integration, functional, and performance tests.
- Diagnose and resolve critical performance issues and establish development practices and processes.
- Manage and mentor software engineers and promote collaborative, high-quality outcomes.
Requirements
- Master's degree in computer science and 5+ years of experience with web technology stacks and web standards, or a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or an equivalent degree and 7+ years of such experience.
- Strong JavaScript expertise, including advanced client-side and server-side development principles.
- At least 5 years of React.js experience and strong knowledge of performant UI components, modern hooks, and design patterns.
- Proficiency in Next.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL, plus semantic HTML, modern CSS, CSS-in-JS, accessibility, SEO, and responsive design.
- Experience with version control, package managers, debugging, and troubleshooting complex issues.
- Proven experience managing developer teams, architecting and scaling complex technical solutions, and leading in Agile environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, mentoring, and technical documentation skills.
- Preferred experience includes headless CMS, e-commerce, A/B testing, backend development, high-traffic websites, content delivery networks, cloud platforms, third-party frontend integrations, and data analytics.
